I am thinking of getting a small pet. I do not want a cat or dog. I live in an apartment building so I need something small. I would like something that can come out of it’s cage and be a bit independent, but also likes to be handled and cuddled.

I’m looking for a Pet Insurance policy that has the best coverage for emergencies. Preventative care is affordable, the emergencies/testing/diagnostics are what I find to be unaffordable. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks for your help!

What is the best pet insurance company?

I have a one year old border terrier and he is currently registered with Petplan pet insurance,however the monthly premiums are quite high. My dog is on the covered for life policy and petplan will pay the vets bills direct.
I want to know if there are any other cheaper insurance companies who will pay the vet directly if there are any bills and also who will pay the cost of any medical treatment for life rather than just a year.
