why choose duck,turtle and hamster for wonder pets show?

this show is for kids but why they choose these 3 animals to make it?

ACTUALLY It’s a guinea pig :]
My brother watches it… But i suppose they chose these animals because their cute and appealing to younger children. Also a turtle is rather unusual for a small child to see so i suppose that could be another reason :]

Turtles are amazing!
But yeah hamsters DO stink. And guinea pigs suck.
