My name is Bradley Kooper and right now I am going to be discussing why getting good Koi filters is one of the best things you can do to maintain a healthy Koi pond and keep your Koi happy and healthy.

As you probably already know that sometimes Koi can be very active, mainly when there’s food around. When this happens they will mix up all of the dirt and waste from the bottom of the pond, this can be dangerous to them in smaller ponds if they don’t have good Koi filters.

So if you have good Koi filters the filter will suck up all of the waste and particles so as not to harm your Koi.

The are two good reasons why it is nice to have good Koi filters. One reason is that it will make you pond look nice and clean which is what we all want so we can enjoy and admire the beauty of our Koi and the next reason is to keep the koi healthy and alive.

When it comes to filtering your pond there are two sorts of Koi filters you can use to filter your pond.

The first kind is the machine that is built into your pond. This type of filter will suck up all of the waste and particles so you will be able to clean it out later.

These machine powered filters are great and do a good job if you get the right one and they can sometimes be a bit pricey but you can get some good deals.

Machine Koi filters can be bought for a couple of hundred dollars but another option is to buy koi pond cleaner, this is a liquid that is unharmful to the Koi but helps to break down the particles. This is an option but I recommend buying the standalone machine filter.

So when you go out and buy your Koi filters you need to get the right sized one. You can simply give the measurements to the person at the store and they should be able to give you the right sized Koi filters.

The main thing to remember when buying Koi filters is that you get the right sized one and if you do you will end up with a happy healthy Koi pond.
