I keep 2 koi carp, and have noticed a black sort of jelly forming in the pool of the waterfall, is this BAD?

The fish appear to be quite happy, and the water is clear,blanket weed under control, there are also 3 gold fish in the pond, I hope it is,nt serious, as my koi are over 10 years old and about 14 inches long.

could it be eggs, either from the fish or frogspawn?
This could be blue-green algae that have found a niche in your system. Check your chemistry is up to scratch, particularly check for excess nitrogen. If it is bluegreen algae it would be best to remove it, as some types are potentially toxic if they get out of control.
You might try taking a sample to a water supply company to see what they say.
